This is an interesting idea for a project. How did this act relate to Latin America? How many Latin@ people were trying to become US citizens in 1795? I think that you’re right that it is still important to cover historical topics despite the fact that other laws have replaced them and made the old laws obsolete. Did you find other sources that talked about the significance of the act rather than just the wording of it?
I think this is an interesting idea – a great way to provide better information about the history of US immigration policy. What specific interventions/ improvements do you have in mind?
